Did Conor hurt his popularity in Ireland with his recent comments? And will he dare say the the same thing about the Prophet Muhammad.

While Conor doesn’t appear to be a religious man, statistics show that 92.3% of the Republic of Ireland is of the Christian faith, including 87.4% Roman Catholics adherents (http://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/profiles/Ireland/Religion). That bold of a statement can’t be good for winning fans in his home country, or the heavily Protestant Nothern Ireland. Another challenge to Conor is will say the same thing about the Prophe Muhammad, the found of Islam. While Christians have committed violent acts in the past, Islam seems to have a greater number of fanatical adherents who preach against those who insult their founder. Just ask the writers at Charlie Hebdo.
