Aljamain Sterling vs. Bryan Caraway added to UFC Fight Night 88

Aljamain Sterling will finally face off against the man he has been calling out for months.

Announced Thursday night, a phenomenal Bantamweight bout was added to an already exciting Fight Nigiht card in Las Vegas as undefeated No. 4 ranked Aljamain “Funk Master” Sterling will take on rival and No. 8 ranked Bryan “Kid Lightning” Caraway.

Sterling (12-0, 4-0 in UFC), who most recently signed a new contract with the UFC, will be looking to keep his undefeated record intact as he continues to ascend the ladder towards a shot at the UFC Bantamweight championship. Sterling has rounded off four impressive victories since coming to the UFC over Cody Gibson, Hugo Viana, Takeya Mizugaki and most recently Johnny Eduardo. Sterling has finished three of these four men and has eight finishes overall throughout his career.

Caraway (20-7, 5-2 in UFC) is a former WEC veteran who has won three of his last four. Two of which have been rear naked choke submissions over Erik Perez and Johnny Bedford, and most recently defeated former WEC Bantamweight champion Eddie Wineland at UFC on Fox: Dillashaw vs. Barao II last summer.

UFC Fight Night 88 will be headlined by a feature Bantamweight matchup between Thomas Almeida and Cody Garbrandt. This event will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events in Las Vegas, NV on May 29th.
