Jared Rosholt released from the UFC with a 6-2 record

It appears that wins arent everything.

Despite surmounting a 6-2 record inside the Octagon over the last three years with the UFC, Jared “The Big Show” Rosholt was released from his UFC contract following a loss to Roy “Big Country” Nelson. A former three-time Division 1 NCAA wrestler, Rosholt defeated the likes Josh Copeland, Soa Palelei, and Stefan Struve. Rosholt’s latest loss snapped a three-fight win streak, that recorded the only finish of Rosholt’s UFC run.

Rosholt, despite his commercial success inside the cage was radically criticized for not putting on the most fan-friendly fights. Prior to entering the UFC back in 2013, Rosholt had finished six of his eight victories by TKO or submission.
