The former UFC Lightweight champion is seemingly planning on making some big career changes soon.

Anthony “Showtime” Pettis (18-5, 5-4 in UFC) is presently riding the worst ride of his career. Currently on a three-fight losing streak, Pettis is in need of a big change and high profile win in order to bring resonance back to his brand and name. Pettis last competed at UFC 197 losing to Edson Barboza by judges decision, and prior to this, lost to number one contender Eddie Alvarez. All of which followed losing his UFC Lightweight title last year to current champion Rafael dos Anjos.

Pettis posted Monday night this picture which included the hashtag #145intheworks:

Pettis has hinted on a potential move down to Featherweight before. Before facing Benson Henderson at UFC 164 for the UFC Lightweight title, Pettis was once scheduled to take on then-champion Jose Aldo at UFC 163 before pulling out of the bout due to injury. Of Anthony’s 18 victories, eight of those wins have come by way of submission and seven by way of knockout.
