Dana White came on The Herd, with Colin Cowherd, to break the announcement. We last saw Ronda when she fought Holly Holm. Before the Holm fight, Ronda went on one of the greatest runs in MMA history. Going 12-0, all first round finishes, besides the 2nd Miesha Tate fight. Ronda defended her championship belt 6 times before she lost to Holm.
The Holly Holm fight was a different story. Holly caught her early and often. She finished Ronda with a head kick knock out. One of the nastiest knock outs in UFC history. The fight Left Ronda hurt and injured. She took some much needed time off and now she’s back. We’ll see Ronda Rousey take on Amanda Nunes on December 30th, UFC 207 in Las Vegas.
After talking about suicide during interviews, you have to wonder where her mental state is. One thing is for sure, this will be a huge title fight. Amanda Nunes is no joke. She finished Miesha Tate in the first round, back at UFC 200. The fans have been dying for Ronda’s return. Ronda Rousey brought women’s MMA into the UFC. She’s arguably the biggest star in MMA. This will be a huge card, we’ll wait and see what other fights end up being on the UFC 207 card
