Paige VanZant VS Michelle Waterson

Rising star Paige VanZant will take on Michelle Waterson in the main event. Paige is coming off a knock out win against Bec Rawlings, it also earned her a performance of the night bonus. Paige is currently 4-1 in the UFC . She is currently the 8th ranked Strawweight in the UFC. Paige said she does not believe that Michelle Waterson is as tough as some of her past opponents, only time will tell.

Michelle Waterson is currently the 12th ranked strawweight, she made her UFC debut in her last fight, taking on Angela Magana. A fight Waterson won by rear naked choke in the 3rd round. She had a knee injury that forced her out of a fight against Tecia Torres, Waterson last fought July 12th, 2015. Paige has fought 3 more times since then, We’ll see if ring rust slows Waterson down, regardless of what people say, ring rust is a real thing.

Sage Northcutt VS Mickey Gall

Coming into this fight Sage Northcutt is currently 8-1. Sage is 3-1 in the UFC, his last fight was at UFC 200 against Enrique Marin, he won be decision. Out of Sage’s 8 wins, 7 are finishes. Sage is the youngest fighter in the UFC and has a ton of potential. Tyron Woodly brought Sage in to mimic Stephan Tompson’s style, Tyron has only great things to say about Sage. Northcutt trimmed down his class load in college so he can focus more on training.

Mickey Gall made his UFC debut against CM Punk back at UFC 203. After outclassing and beating CM Punk, Mickey called out Sage Northcutt. If Mickey can pick up a win over Sage, his stock will just continue to rise. Mickey

Gall is 3-0 in MMA, 1-0 in the UFC. Sage certainly has the experience on Mickey, more MMA fights, more UFC fights, tougher opponents. Mickey is a high level BJJ guy and claims he has big power in his hands. He did land some big ground and pound aginst CM Punk. Gonna be fun to see how this one plays out.

Urijah Faber VS Brad Pickett

Urijah Faber announced he was retiring after this fight. With a lot of guys you never know if they really mean it. I mean look at Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock, Royce came out of retirement at 50 years old, so you just never really know. Urijah has lost 3 out of his last 4. He most recently lost to Jimmie Rivera back at UFC 203, an underwhelming and forgetable fight. With this being Faber’s last fight, he should come out hungry and strong.

Brad Pickett has lost 4 out of his last 5 fights, he’s not fighting for a title, right now he’s fighting for his job. You have to assume one more and he will be cut. Brad has earned 6 performance bonuses in his UFC run, no doubt the only reason he still has a job. He is currently 2-5 in his last 7 fights and Faber is no easy fight. Brad’s last fight was against Iuri Alcântara on UFC 204. Brad lost by triangle choke 1:59 into the first round.

Alan Jouban VS Mike Perry

Alan and Mike will start off the main card, Jouban has a 2 fight win streak going. His last fight against Belal Muhammad. Alan Jouban has won 2 fight of the nights in his career, the performance bonus money is always great motivation for fighters to dig deep and try for the finish or fight of the night.

Mike Perry is an undefeated fighter, at 9-0. He is 2-0 in the UFC. His last fight was against Danny Roberts at UFC 204. Mike won the fight by KO. Mike Perry will be looking to keep his undefeated streak going. Both Perry and Jouban are riding win streaks, the winner of this will see their stock rise.
