19 year old twin brothers, Kade and Tye Ruotolo have been taking the BJJ world by storm, so they set both brothers up for grappling matches at today’s One Championship event. Kade got BJJ ace and multi time world champion- Shinya Aoki. Aoki felt that being in a cage would be to his advantage. He was wrong.
Kade dominated every second of the match, pushing Shinya aggressively to the cage, getting dominant positions and the only Submission attempts of the entire night. In the closing seconds Shinya got top control for the first time but was immediately caught in a buggy choke from guard as the round ended. The judges decision went to Kade.
Kade’s brother, Tye was matched with former BJJ world champion- Garry Tonon. And the night went even worse for Tonan. In a shocking outcome, Tye choked Garry into submission with a D’arce choke in less than 2 minutes.
