According to MMA fighting, undefeated UFC featherweight, and famed Abraham Lincoln impersonator, Zabit Magomedsharipov has informed the UFC that he has retired from active competition.
Zabit was a UFC standout but hasn’t competed since 2019, a win over top 145er Calvin Kattar. He was booked against Yair Rodriguez but Rodriguez pulled out and Zabit never booked another fight. He recently teased on social media he was studying to be a doctor.
This will be shocking to most fans as many considered Zabit a future champion. He was ranked top 5 and was removed from rankings due to inactivity.
