It was a strange ending indeed, but Yair takes the win. Yair got the better of the striking by a pretty wide margin, but Ortega started using cage control to attempt takedowns, it took him a while but he finally succeeded. As soon as Yair hit the ground he attempted an armbar from his back, as Ortega pulled his arm out of the attempt his shoulder dislocated. Brian fell backwards and tapped.
Brian has had 2 shoulder surgeries in the past, and may be on his way to a third. Yair should get some credit though, he was winning the fight and the dislocation did happen from an armbar attempt as seen pictured.
