Pettis had his opportunity to avenge his last loss TO Stevie Ray and it was a failure. He wasn’t finished this time though and lost 29-28.
The first round Pettis was taken down, controlled and seemed nearly finished with a north south choke. In round 2 he was again taken down and controlled with back control and a body triangle as Ray worked for a RNC. Round 3 Pettis was able to keep it standing and narrowly won the round.
This puts Pettis to 1-4 in PFL overall.
